The Rate of the US Educational Institutions: Graduation Success Percentages

The rate of the educational institutions for the percentage of successful graduates is very interesting list of universities and colleges. There are very few universities with the famous name in this list. For the most part this rate consists of the little and almost unknown educational institutions. There are different universities in the enumeration: private and public, with all levels of university degree provided and with only bachelor’s programs, the universities with many majors and courses and colleges which provide several basic disciplines. The top ten universities for Successful Graduate Percentages consist of:

 

  1. Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art (New York) with the graduation rate 82, 5 % and such majors as architecture, engineering and art.

 

  1. US Air Force Academy (Colorado) with the graduation rate 81.3% (engineering and social sciences)

 

  1. St. Joseph’s College (New York) with the graduation rate 77% (sciences and finance)

 

  1. Messiah College (Pennsylvania) with the graduation rate 76.7% (biblical studies and sciences)

 

  1. Taylor University-Upland (Indiana) with the graduation rate 76.4% (business, computer systems)

 

  1. Susquehanna University (Pennsylvania) with the graduation rate 76.1% (music, graphic design)

 

  1. US Merchant Marine Academy (New York)  with the graduation rate 71.8% (marine engineering and transportation)

 

  1. US Coast Guard Academy (Connecticut) with the graduation rate 69.7% (government, management)

 

  1. Maine Maritime Academy (Maine) with the graduation rate 68.9% (engineering, transportation, business)

 

  1. Cedarville University (Ohio) with the graduation rate 68.3% (psychology, history, language and literature)

 

There is an interesting fact that the majority of the listed universities are connected with the Armed Forces of the US. It can by explained by the atmosphere of strict discipline, responsibility and self – organization. 

The peculiarity of these universities is always the humanitarian and art direction of the disciplines and majors: music, arts, biblical studies, history, architecture and languages.
